First Composition:

Short Assignment #1: Potential Genre Proposal
I’m thinking about two distinct genres. A PowerPoint presentation or a research paper
assignment, for example, are both acceptable choices. I’m curious how Spotify predicts or
decides that we’ll love the music it delivers as a first step toward accomplishing this goal. My
target audience very probably includes folks who are curious about how Spotify decides which
songs its customers listen to. Initially, I contemplated a combination of integrating a movie inside
the powerpoint presentation and providing a source for my concept. However, I am
contemplating just creating Powerpoint presentations that are focused on getting straight to the
point regarding the subject at hand; I am considering providing a Powerpoint presentation for
this project. Apart from injecting some uniqueness into the presentation, for example, by making
the powerpoint to resemble Spotify, there are a few additional points to consider. Furthermore,
define the data that will be shown in the powerpoint presentation. In comparison, I will elaborate
on the content I will provide in a research paper. Additionally, I’ll discuss the resources that will
be delivered to the customer in greater detail. If I produce a research report, I’ll be able to
adequately explain any further interpretations I develop in light of the data I’ve obtained.

Second Composition:

Short Assignment #2: Audience Strategy
For my presentation, I would most likely use a slideshow. In comparison to the previous
writing assignments we’ve been assigned, my target audiences for this project would be
somewhat different. In this example, my target audience for my project is students. Otherwise,
folks who are curious about how Spotify determines which music to recommend to its
subscribers. It would make sense as to why this would attract specific individuals, thus that is
how and why I identified certain audiences as my audience. Gives an example of how Spotify
can predict what music they’ll enjoy based on the songs they listen to on a regular basis. My
audience will have an impact on the decisions I make throughout the writing process; I must be
exact in the information I give in the slideshow. Obtaining facts and proof from reliable outside
sources. In addition, in the my slideshow, I will address all of the typical questions. I believe
that I will be required to write a general brief informative answer in each slide show during the
presentation. I was thinking of putting a 1 to 2 minute movie of Spotify behind the scenes to
show how they figure out what kinds of music we could enjoy. I believe that filming myself
giving a presentation will help to relieve the strain I’ll feel when I deliver it to my audience. And
be mentally prepared to respond to the question that would be asked later, since I would have
already collected myself.
